I've teamed up with Jen from Noting Grace and Lindsay at Repurpose and Upcycle, both fellow DIYers, to help spread some love and introduce you to new accounts and bloggers! We are hosting a super fun link-up party for everyone, bloggers and non-bloggers alike! You can share your blog post here, showing off a DIY creation you made, or if you are a non-blogger, you can share your DIY with us on Instagram using the hashtag #iDIYedthat. Every Tuesday, we will each be sharing our favorite pick from one blogger and one non-blogger from the previous week on our blogs, Instagram accounts, Facebook pages, and even a dedicated Pinterest board!
Here are two of my favorite shares from this week!
Swoon! April's kitchen is a farmhouse dream and it took a lot of hard work to get there but she did it on a budget. She DIYed the faux brick backsplash using joint compound, painter's tape, paint, and sealer, she also poured her own concrete countertops with the help of her husband, and added shiplap to her popcorn-covered soffits. Its crazy to go back and see the before - she totally transformed her galley style kitchen.
Oh for the love of drop cloth! Leigh made this beauty with strips of drop cloth tied around an embroidery hoop, Its so simple but it brings in so much texture, I just love it! You can find the full tutorial on her blog, Little by Little Farmhouse.
I had so much fun sharing these lovely ladies' projects with you. Be sure to check out all of the projects that were shared for #iDIYedthat on Instagram and you can find more of our favorites on the Pinterest board linked above!
Want to know to link up? It's super easy! Share up to three of your original posts from your blog with something you DIYed (no shops or giveaways please) by following the link below.
Please be sure to follow your hosts on your favorite form of social media. It's not necessary to visit other blogs, but if you see something that inspires you, go to the original source and let them know! We can't wait to see what you share!
