If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that this week we celebrated 3 years as homeowners! We look like babies in this picture! We have had so much fun making this place home and in honor of finally deeming the inside finished (except for a small list of minor things) I thought I would share some of my favorite transformations from our house. I had NO idea I would be sharing our home, much less blogging about it when we first started on it so I don't have a ton of before pictures or step-by-step pictures either but I'd be more than happy to try to answer any questions you have!
I do not miss that pink and blue backsplash... not even a little! You can read all about this transformation here!
Carpet in the dining room wasn't fun and replacing it was the first project we started saving up for. It took a whole 2 years but we finally put down laminates last year. You can read about our shiplap wall here.
Hands down, one of my favorite transformations, and being that this has been my most viewed/re-pinned/featured project, I think its safe to say it was your's too! I am still so in love with these stenciled floors, so much so that I added them to our laundry room! You can read about the floors here and building plans for the ladder above the toilet can be found here.
I haven't really blogged about this space but the floors made a huge difference in this space. I also get a lot of questions about our couches, they are the Ektorp slip-covered couches from IKEA.
We are not small people and that door was so small that we could barely get in the shower. The floor was also almost completely rotted and you could see down into the garage from underneath the vanity. You can read about our master bathroom transformation here, and here!
This project was so big that I had to break it up into two separate posts. You can read about the faux subway tile here and the tutorial for our stenciled floors can be found here!
We have painted the front door and siding already but as soon as the weather warms up, we are finishing landscaping, working on updating the garage doors, and painting the barn/shed!
Which before/after was your favorite? I'd love to know!
